Close 2nd, Jenny Ryan from the Gold Coast.

Congrates to Emma Webb on an excellent event and the call to move to Moggs really made the day.

The competiton was a great success, starting around 9am and finishing a little after 4
so it was a big day.

Thanks to Jen and Ali coming all the way from Qld smokin effort ladies.

Huge thank you to sponsors: Sunny King, Sup Bus, Hinano Clothing, Kialoa Paddles, Lorne Surf Shop, South Coast Longboard Club and many more for thier help.

The SUP division was tied between Jenny and Kristi 13.5,12.5,13.5,12.5 between the 4 judges and they went to a count back I think to decide the winner.

Congrats to Jenny who blew them away in the heat and came 2nd in the final by the smallest of margins.

Ali pulled out some big moves in the heat in poor waves but unfortunately didnt progress to the final.

Womens comps have a totally different vibe and it was a pleasure to see everyone having fun.

Hey Husq,

Lots more images, takes lots of time to get them sorted retouched etc and we have a deadline for local papers.

I want to ensure Emma gets some solid recognition for the work she did.

Stay tuned.

Kristi probably bagged it with her strong opener, in the 1st minute. I was lounging around out the back, and it even looked good from my reverse angle. She was busy all the way through to the shore. Great use of the paddle too, surfing without it, then jamming it in for some solid turns!

Thanks everybody! Never surfed Moggs before - the swell maybe have been small but the waves were the best I've ever seen for a comp, and it was greaaat!

Thanks to Ali Cat and Starlet GC for coming down from Queensland, its good when there's a few more girls to compete against. Congrats to Jenny, battling against me to the last minute and coming second by the smallest of scores.

A massive thank-you to Emma Webb and the crew from Surf Coast Longboarders, the first all girls three discipline comp - run and it rocked!

It was a greaat to see so many girl SUPer and I can't wait to see some of you at Noosa!

Congratulations Kristi!!!
Solid opening ride in the first minute of the final and from the beach she looked in control of the heat from start to finish!
Well done and a well deserved win!

Well done Emma and the Vicco crew on such a well run - relaxed comp. The vicco crew were great - and were really stoked that Ali and I had flown down from QLD to take part in it. Phil was right.. the vibe was TOTALLY different without the boys! (no offence boys!!!)

Well done Kristi... You surfed well and it was great to have tied score wise! It made for an exciting final! Also well done to Lucy Bell who placed 3rd in her first Sup comp...

This comp has some great potential and hopefully they will continue to run it!
