Anyone know of a shop that has trial boards in the 14 footers? I've paddled an 11'6" but want to move to a tourer or more of an open water board. I'm 6'6" and 110kg so I am looking for something stable, can catch a runner, not too punishing into the wind...
I'd really like to get onto one before I commit the cash though...

Yeah, Sam at WSS is a good bet. You're a big unit though, so getting the right fit for things will make a massive difference... I'm of 'similar' dimensions and getting a board and paddle big enough transformed the experience!!!
