Thanks to everyone who came down last night for a paddle. With 25kt+ NW winds and rain I thought I was gonna be the only one on the lake so it was good to get 7 die hards come down and battle it out. Due to the weather we decided to do a 6km lap of the lake instead of the usual 4km, and managed to get some shelter from the elements along the back straight. The last section was extremely difficult going straight into and across the winds. There were still some great times posted and hopefully we will get better conditions next week. Don't forget to register for this saturdays race hosted by SA Ocean Paddlers down on the mid coast. Should be good test of all the training we've been doing and alot of fun too! Also I haven't included last nights times on the leader board due to the different course but if we do the lap again I will start a new one.
