Hi,

I have bought a Naish Vario paddle and I really like it. I am wondering, however, why there is water in the upper part of the shaft after each session. This part should be water tight, don't you agree? In addition, it is difficult to get the water out of the shaft. Is this normal for vario paddles or should I contact the shop where I bought it?

Thanks!

The water seems to enter via the plug. I was told to seal the plug. Do you have any suggestion how to seal it? Should I use some kind of glue? Thanks!

I'd recommend MS Polymer glues. They exist in all the glue brands. They are extra strong and cure with humidity, so it is not a problem if the plug is still bit wet. These glues are enhancements of the older polyurethane glues, such as the Gorilla Glue, which should work too.
