Glassy good.. Oily not good..

I've noticed when paddling on the bay you sometimes get glass in patches while there's still a light breeze and wondered how the water can still be glassy.. Must be a slight oil slick.

Fully agree David. The ocean and overall nature deserve all the care and respect... Otherwise, sooner or later, human will be a dot in the timeline of the planet.

I happens naturally with weeds emitting oil or greasy mucus, such as the famous kelp beds in california.
