Haha, yeah Lightning McQueen and I went out tried a few of those beach launches. Lightning slid right over the front of the board and into the frigid water. But then he got to try the Danny Ching instantaneous remount. And fell off the back of the board. The lesson? Don't try BOP race tricks on a skinny flat water race board.

Anyone else watching the distance race (down-winder) and if so are you getting weird sound.. Or is it just me?

Looks like JM has won the 14' class and second overall.. Scott Gambell? wins on what looks like a big Bullet.. Travis Grant third overall and second in the 14' class.

Yep, I'm watching, and the sound is weird and out of sync for me too...it's 22:51pm in the UK right now...

...and now it's 23:06 and the feed has frozen... and 23:08 now its back on, sound still duff. very frustrating.

Who came in first for the women? My feed was down...

WOW!! Didn't want the Hawaii Kai Downwind race to end today!! I must admit i'm not that flash at Downwind runs this good over here!!
So good today!!! EPIC
Hundreds of paddlers on the race today, so cool the start was chaos!!

The local boys did great again

Jake Jensen 3rd 14ft class
Jacko 2nd 12'6 class
Beau 3rd 12'6 class
Kelly top 5 in 14ft class
Myself either 1st or 2nd in 12'6 class (I'm not sure yet) 2nd i think
Terrene top 5 in 14ft class (we think 3rd)
Lincon 5th 12'6 class (i think)

These hawaii's can downwind that's foresure, especially the girls!!

Trav and Jacko in the winning relay team. The relay teams could be guys and girls but the guys choose not to take any girls :(

Lacey, jacko paddled with trav and c4 team cos there is no one else that rides fanatic here and trav wanted him on the relay.

Full packed day here today now for some r'n'r and few beers :)

Home on tuesday and straight back into training for California!! YEW can't wait already!
