Hey everyone, here's a video I shot at the Waikiki Paddle Festival press conference yesterday.
There's an awesome vibe over here - all the pros are in town and everyone's super excited about
the big Survivor SUP Race on Saturday (..that's the new name for the Elite Race).
I was lucky enough to grab a quick word from: Travis Grant // Danny Ching // Paul Jackson //
Jenny Kalmbach // Connor Baxter // Steve Walker // Tom Carroll // Angie Jackson // Jake Jensen
Check out their race previews and predictions...
Thanks for sharing Chris.
Will be interesting to see how TC goes against all the seasoned racers.
It's an amazing field when you go through the list.
Enjoy.
Nice job Chris. Cool to hear the big guns a little nervous about the format.
When is the race on and is it going out live online like before?
Sam.
Excellent vid.. Thanks.
Does anyone know the timing for us here in Oz? .. Both start and finish times for their Saturday event.

What an amazing event and MAJOR props to Quiksilver for being the first company to see the paddle culture of all disciplines for what it is.
I was trying to work out how I can get the night off work to watch it.. and then realized that it's 8am on Sunday morning.. Waa-hoo.. That's great.. ![]()

Looks like it will be an early morning here on Sunday, this looks like something that can't be missed.
Is everyone else getting lots of freezing up with the live broadcast and the sound way out of sink?

Multimedia blowout: wireless Internet laptop hooked the Flatscreen telly with sound through the home theatre and then commenting on IPhone..... Where were we in the days of waiting for mags to give us the news???
good to see quiksilver seem to have put a lot of effort and money into this event. Hopefully it will increase awarness of SUP and what a waterman is all about.
