We are heading off from Merimbula on a 10 week road trip of southern WA in mid February. I have done my research but If anyone can help with some advice re good spots for surfing (me) and flat water (wife) then send me a PM. Please don't compromise any "secret spots". We will be touring through Esperance, Albany, Margarets, Perth and up as far as Gero. Any company along the way is most welcome. Cheers

Lucky Bugger!!
While in the Margaret River area, check out Gracetown.... Beautiful. And, if the swell is off the planet, tuck around the corner of Cape Naturalist to Eagle Bay... some nice sheltered breaks around there when the wind is mad out of the SW. Or, a beauty flat water session for the wife.

These aren't secret spots just on the main drag....

As above all good spots Esperence is great for surf or flat water depending on the day just watch out of lead laying around, easily identifiable by dead birds in the area!!!
Just kidding that was quite a few years ago now, Busselton is also great at the Pier as well as Bunbury, Mandurah, Perth in general. Perth north to Gero there are lots of spots to stop off but the sea breeze comes in hard most of the time so paddle early, arvo is for wind surfing or kite!
