Hey all you sheep loving Kiwi's, I'm heading over to NZ for Xmas and looking for

options to buy a 2nd hand board. I'm staying in Wanganui and probably a few days

in Taupo. I spend a bit of time in NZ as my wife is one of you so I will just leave it

her the inlaws. Chasing something wave orientated under 8'5

Any Kiwi's got any other options? Tried trade me, they all seemed to be 9' plus!!!
I've tried googling used boards in NZ but not much luck. I can't be arsed taking one on the plane, much rather just buy one and leave it there.

This is definitely your best bet unless you get lucky. Small hassle once off - then as Mac says its all good. Hope you have a good xmas over there - Whanganui has a few nice spots if the wind is favourable otherwise make sure you head north about 1.5 hrs and things get really interesting

I know it makesmore sense to take one, boards are cheaper here and alot more options, got dramas getting from wellington airport with 2 kids etc, I was hoping to get a board freighted to Wanganui and then I've got a van to use.
Don't know if I will get a chance to head to New Plymouth area, see how it goes

A few years ago I air freighted, door to door, my 9'6" mal, kitesurfing gear and a short board back home to whakatane for an extended holiday, all up ended been about $400 door to door. The mal need some small repairs as the courier tried to fit 9'6" into a 8" van...

Might be an option for you cheers

hey mate, could possibly be parting with my black Coreban 8'5'' Nitro? let me know if you are interested. Its in Auckland presently, shipping to Whanganui would be about $100, in pretty good condition, black with one or two chips in the paint.

What's with this "I need something really short" thing?
Sort of the opposite of "big car small dick"?
Just kidding....but does length really matter??
