Hello,
I´m looking for an training camp somewhere warm, like AUstralia. Do you have those or how do australians go about it?
I am asking:
- relatively cheap accommondation
- good food
- peace and quiet to rest and sleep (hotel, motel, beach, under a boat)
- 2 x a day on the water
- starting when the autumn hits northern Europe
- training group is optional but would be nice
Any information of any such place?, thanks ![]()

Welcome to the Breeze Petteri
Not so much a surfing camp , but for racing for sure on the Gold Coast at Currumbin in Queensland. There are a few really good training squads there with heaps of cheap accom around that area. I'm sure the crew on this forum will PM you or contact them direct
on the links below.
Re the surfing , plenty of us always surf around Currumbin more than happy to hook up and take you to a few other places.
This is a pic of Currumbin
all those training squads take place in the still water near the bridge. Fly into Coolangatta airport it's only a 15min drive to Currumbin. Here is a few links to local clubs/squads at Currumbin.

Magnificent shot of Currumbin in all its glory, by the way! 200 metre rides when its working, but lots of traffic both on and off the water. Crystal clear blue water. I like it when its about 3-4 foot with long walls, and no egos. Share the love.
