Thanks Robert, that was awesome!
Loved the video of John Zapotocky, it always gets me... all those years scurrying through the corners of every surf magazine available, and I never saw one mention of that odd old man, surfing with a paddle.

and yet... in that video, he was doing exactly what we do now, all these years later.
Thank God that Laird and Dave had the media attention on them, so that this sport reached the people.

SUP surfing and paddling changed my life forever, and I know it has done the same for so many people!!

Hat tip to John for seeing the potential all those decade before the rest.
