Chasing the Wind!! The Botany Bay Downwinder.

The wind was peaking at 45 Knots from the South throughout the afternoon. Boards were creaking on roof tops as we made the trip to Botany Bay. This was it. This was the time.

Four paddlers set off from Dolls Point and SUP Downwind to Kyeemagh, catching 1.5-2ft chop on race boards, blown up by the gods. This was the perfect beginning for the newly formed Botany Bay Sup Club with a mega downwinder.

I saw it earlier in the afternoon and thought it looked fun, and yes it was definately bigger than it appears. You get a fair breeze on the bay, and it always seems to be "on" in the afternoon. Keep the videos coming, it's great to see somewhere familiar.
