This is an open letter of thanks to NSP , Mitch and Jonesy. I have been riding stand ups for around 3 years and like most people on this forum have found they completely change your life ie: being back onto the water after injury being a first timer or even just the health and lifestyle stand up brings . I bought my first 14' on gumtree for $350 (bargain) a starboard k15 yes 15' absolutely loved it but was unusable in any club events because of its length.
So I started saving for my dream 14' and after a year and a half had the cash to grab a new NSP 14'
after a couple of weeks I noticed a small defect and pointed this out to Jonesy our local NSP rep and all round good guy who said "leave it with me ". I though it would go no further as i have had the brush off runaround from a large sup brand before .
About a week after telling Jonesy my dilemma he got back to me and said he had spoken to Mitch from NSP and to send some photos through because it was potentially a warranty claim ( I wasn't really optimistic ) but Jonesy assured me that with NSP quality is everything. 2 weeks later and a couple more photos Mitch contacted me and gave me the news that NSP would be replacing the board . I was stoked! Over the next month I spoke to Mitch and Jonesy numerous times and was even given the option of a replacement board from any of their range .
I picked the Ninja
all I had to do was pay the difference between last years and this years , being the pauper I am I asked if I could have a ex demo from last year Mitch said "he would see what he could do ". I got a call last week saying the board was getting picked up from Sydney and was on its way
I rang Mitch to get an idea of what was coming he told me " a demo 14' Ninja " stoked ! I contacted the transport company so I could intercept them on their way up the coast and headed them off near my place .
The guys pulled up , the doors swung open , and there she was a brand spanking new 2018 NSP **** yeah ! A miracle in today's world where something that good could happen . Sorry for the long ramble but I had no other way of showing my appreciation and confidence in the brand NSP and the people who represent that brand . Truely stoked , Regards Kris

Great result.
Nice when a company stands by their product.
Well down all around.

I too must give NSP a big thankyou for their great warranty board replacement.
When long time NSP Shaper Dale Chapman saw water leaking out from under the pad on my new NSP DC Sonic 14' x 26" as we were shooting the breeze leaning on my ute he pealed back the pad to expose a 500mm crack/split in the deck. 'Its f##%ed! Get NSP to give you a new one! Tell them I said its f##%ed -you deserve a new one" were Dale's immediate words.
I bought the board from Sam at Windsurfnsnow and he was quick to say send some photos and he will put in a warranty claim and that NSP was a good company and I should have no trouble.
NSP were quick to agree to a new board replacement.
To my good fortune there were no more 2017 Sonics available and if I could be a little patient when the new 2018 Sonic model stock came in, my cracked board would be replaced by the latest and greatest!
So a big thankyou to Dale Chapman, Sam Parker at Windsurfnsnow and NSP - forever legends![]()

Thanks ET very happy here
GRS I am so glad I wrote about this as I really was impressed with the way I was treated and the quality of board I now have . I am so glad someone else had such a positive experience more credit to you NSP and as GRS said legendary stuff![]()
That is a very nice feed-back.
Here on Canada's West Coast, there is no visible NSP distributor but we have seen one retailer carrying some boards.
I am wondering if the level of service would be the same with the distance and the remote relationship between user and manufacturer. Dale Chapman does not paddle here, and Travis Grant might have come once or twice... :-) Then there is also the Surftech factor as they might likely handle distribution channel and relationship outside Oz.
We have a very good distribution for One Sup and Sunova is starting to build-up locally too. I am waiting for Deep Oceans and NSP to hopefully do the same as it should drastically increase the chances of a positive outcome in case of problem plus be able to test boards. The boards coming from Oz are nicer every year so coupled with a good warranty and the ability to test before buying, that put them as very serious contenders for been first choice.
Big Cheers Kris, Have to say your froth towards SUP is infectious. Thanks for your Buzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Rock and roll !! yeeew!
Mitch and the NSP team are good dudes. I have had the pleasure of working with them in a professional capacity and it was totally good vibes and a commitment to quality which is good business. Enjoy that Ninja - the 2018 boards rip!
