No waves at Tannum, but Agnes gets some nice waves. A paddle down wild cattle creek is nice, or the Boyne River.

Tannum has some slop if the swell gets serious to the South. 1770 headland is nice on a not so windy day. Paddle out on the last of the outgoing, surf the low, come back on the incoming. Main beach Agnes varies a lot. Nice on an ESE. Forget the point if it's crowded and you're a beginner. Head a bit further up for a couple of nice breaks. There's also Workmans, Chinamans and Springs Beach. Springs is beautiful if you don't mind a hike down the boardwalk from the carpark. Worth doing for a few hours of fun.
