Sunny coast in the the start of spring? Anywhere protected that you can sup?

Heading there with the misus and kids for 4 days. Is there anywhere to paddleboard in the northerlies when they hit strong this time of year? ?

There's a few protected corners on the nor easters for surf & many rivers & creeks if you're into flat water paddling. Which end of the coast are you coming to?

The spring seabreezes don't kick in until lunchtime anyway, so you'll get a good early morning session in on most days.

And they're not consistent seabreezes here, especially in Sep/Oct - you can still have windless glassy days or even westerlies at that time of year
