I don't normally find anything interesting about surfing videos but this one... Laird shooting the pier and the girl in the white shorts... there's something here for everyone.
A couple more angles. He actually did it twice and someone else joined him for a party wave through the pier.

He not only can surf just about anything anywhere, he must be fairly tough individual as well.
Did you notice that everyone else was wearing a full steamer and he just had board shorts on.
