SUPSA Flat Water Race 2 this Saturday 27th October

SUPSA Flat Water Race 2
This coming Saturday 27th October will see the SUPSA Flat Water Race 2 from Budds Beach surfers Paradise. This is for SUPSA individual championship points and must be a SUPSA financial member to compete.
If you seem you are lacking events and competition, this is one not to miss!
Venue - Budds Beach Surfers Paradise (River Drive, Surfers Paradise)
Time - 9am for a 9:30am race start.
Board Size Categories - up to12'6" length boards and 14' + Length Boards
Distance - Long Distance 8 - 10 kms, Short Distance up to 4km's (for paddlers not comfortable with the long distance length + kids fun race!
BBQ, refreshments and character right-offs are supplied!

Everyone will be starting at the same time depending what distance you niminate for.
The Long Distance will be about 10km's and the Short Distance will be around 5km's. Long distance competitors to start first with the Short Distance race to begin approximately 15-20minutes after.
Depending on numbers with various board lengths, these categories may be a staggered start as well. We'll determine this on race day!

Hey what if someone who isnt a member wants to come and have a paddle on the day??

We do our board demo at Budds beach every Saturday from 8-10. If anyone wants to race a demo board let us know in the morning.

Doesn't matter if not a member as you can sign up on the day for a day membership of $10 or join a full membership which see's us having 5 more club events for 2012.

Oh, did I mention a BBQ and a few drinks after the race???
