Hi guys. I'm looking at upgrading to a smaller surf SUP and looking at Naish GT 8'5 and JP 9'2 and prowave 9'2. I'm an intermediate paddler at about 80kgs. Thanks in advance

I'm 70kg and riding a 8'5 Prowave. I freaking love that thing. I haven't ridden the others but I have no regrets on choosing the Prowave!

JP 8-2 Pro but might be a bit tippy if so JP 8-6 pro would be perfect (2015-2016 models) Sunova 8-5 Speed worth a look as well or the Sunova 8-4 Flow.

Hi,
Ivhad the chance to test a few Blue Planet Boards. Must say rather great and loved the couple i rode. Jared is really easy going and they are based in nsw so might be worth touching base and having a try.
I tested the potatoe chip 8'6 x 32
And the ninja warrior 8'10 x29 i loved the potatoe chip personally.

Check out Atlantis vex profusion.... I'm 75 kegs and bought second hand 8'0" x 29 1/4 last year. It's kicked me off a fair bit, have finally got somewhere with it and love it. You might want the 8'6" but amazing value compared to the big brands...

you'll probably be able to try before you buy being on east coast.

Normally I'd say just get a Jimmy Lewis Stun Gun and never have to buy another board again but .... with the way the market is cost wise for pop outs (any brand) If I was looking now I'd just get the guys from Deep to make one for me.

Could be good fit for u.

Thanks mate. I've got a 8'8 deep. Great board, just a little wide and thick across up front.

Hey jbarlow,
I've got an 8'8" Deep, and for my 100kgs and 6'2" it is really progressive. I'm really enjoying it.
If I woke up weighing 80kg tomorrow, and somewhat shorter, I'd be going back to Simon at Deep and asking for a 7' plus!
