Hi all, does anyone have any recommendations for outdoor sup storage racks? Would probably also need to put a shelter above them.
Cheers

My first thought was an old bunk bed, second was a cubby house, but while googleing I found this.

Easy to build, id say and pretty cheep, use very little week glue and pull apart or modify if needed, or even no glue and just use small screw on joiners.
The guy used timber dowel as cross bar supports

I

used gal pipe to make racks under the house. You could easily make the free standing and use the frame to add a roof

Been waiting for a post like this to share my new rack.

I had a new deck built and wanted somewhere easily accessible to store my toys.

Timber verticals and 20mm steel tube with plastic sleeves.

Works a treat.

If you're in/around Melb DQ Fabrications in Mordialloc make very nice custom racks.

Something I slapped together and works really well just using 50 mm pvc pipe for the rack and some second hand patio frame that a family member was about to throw away from a recent reno..

Here's my version. Under-house storage will ruin your board cover over time. Boat rollers! Works better than expected. Lots of control over rolling the board in and out.

I like my boards up and out of the way. 50mm seat belt webbing from Clark rubber, bit of water pipe and some pool noodle, easy.

I store my boards out of the covers and deck down, keeps them dried out and ensures the planing surface is in perfect condition.
