Looking for up to date information on this topic. The last discussion on this topic was between 2014-2016. I have tried to purchase a camelbak molokai online as this design looked like it would best suit my needs. However, all efforts have resulted in "no longer in stock", or "no longer supplied" scenario. What has evolved over the last few years to replace this piece of equipment. More interested in the on the back version than lumbar version. Would like a bladder capable of holding 2 litres and room for phone and car keys.
Thanks for your input.
Is there anything Hydration and PFD combined recommendation for distance and/or sup surfing.
Camelbak make a waist one.
Interesting to revisit this topic, I agree very little had evolved in respect to vests etc for hydration
As we use inflatable life waist belts it's a bit awkward to wear a waist bottle holder.
This brings the question which hydration vest is best for sup racing or distance paddling I. E camelbak

Good to see the topic back on track. Still looking for a back option that can hold a 2 litre bladder and room for phone and car keys. Looking for something tried and tested that is comfortable whilst paddling. Have owned several camelbaks (mule and hawg) that I use for mountain biking, but too bulky for the sup.
Does anyone know why the camelbak molokai appears to be discontinued?
Thanks.
It appears the camelbak tahoe is no longer available either. Have camelbak given up on hydration packs for sup's, or have they introduced a replacement for the molokai and the tahoe?

Vaikobi PFD and a no-name bladder from Anaconda. Works a treat!
