Diary time ,
Last year had a lot of good feedback .This year more of the same with a few improvements to bring you a better event .
To book head to Tidy club ,early bookings requested to help seeding .For general info head to yr local Facebook page .

This is ridiculous, the Leo breaks get crowded enough on the weekends and sup Vic have booked comps for 2 weekends a month in July and August.
I know that you have to obtain a permit from the ranger however what about the surfing community who surf at PT Leo.
SUP Vic should reconsider it's schedule and use some other locations for it's competitions therefore limit their Pt Leo competitions to one or during the winter period.
What are the legalities with surf comps, do I have to get out of the water because some club decides its their break today?

I think it is actually 3 events with other dates as backup, one of which is point impossible ( west coast )
that's what I read. Any way if it is all w/ends big woop there's plenty of locations elsewhere
agree with mick, should be no big deal and look at the positives.. chance to raise the profile of the sport, hopefully a few manufacturers get involved, great chance for local shops to meet and greet, opportunity to talk to other like minded souls and have a beer or two...wish ther was a leg down inverloch way i would enter ...
great work and full encouragement to the organizers...

Just wondering what the point of raising the profile might be, Bomber? I'd have thought it's pretty high profile these days and the water is getting more and more crowded...?
My apologies I did misread the post, the comp is only over 3 events. As long as the Vic SUP entourage don't arrive and crowd out the break on the non-event days.

Can't speak for others but you have my word I won't surf there other than comps and even then it's a tall order.
Mind you if I lived nearby I would probably take up the challenge just to give you the sheets![]()
