Janki , @ Sanur , - Jimmy Lewis n Starboard
RipCurl School of surf @ Sanur, - Smik n Starboard

I used Janki, he had jimmy lewis boards, boards are a bit beat up but you'll be fine, take your own paddle though, he'll deliver to you ....for a fee

First time to Bali and loved it ![]()
With the family it was more of a tourist holiday with the water park, downhill biking, shopping and enjoying the local food and bintang beer.
I didn't go sup surfing but ended up renting a surfboard most days.
We stayed at the Aston Kuta and already family want to go back and would use the same hotel for first two days and last but get out of Kuta to better surf locations.
Hey Bighugg I checked your profile to see you spent some time there earlier this year.
What locations do you recommend?
Cheers Greg
Arrived Bali this morning.
We call Kelan our home base for our explorations , spending start n finish across Jimbaran bay area, Airport Rights, bay distance paddling.
So many places to Sup around Bali depending on seasons and wind. With your family entertainment needs choosing a different area to stay each trip would cover all bases and keep travel traffic times to a minimum. Put up your possible travel dates and folks will give options .
We are not the hyper tourism option, so middle part of our two weeks is back to Java for of a explore. Chasing that semi retirement mellow sandy longboard point break....... aaaahh the search. Might have to go eastern island's next trip.
Glad you enjoyed your trip to Bali, most make the same mistake and hang around Kuta which is a sh-t hole, get out and explore the real Island of the Gods.
Yes great first trip and keen to explore a lot more next time. Actually really enjoyed surfing 100 % ![]()
