Aboslutely awesome day! Funny was probably the most mellow of all the club comps this year, and yet it was the series decider!
Very hassly final, fark, glad I volunteered to be spotter and not judge, all I had to do was call " umm,waves coming, everybody's paddling ".
As everyone on here has already said, thanks to Casso and family, not just for yesterday, but for the whole year! 
Have been really lucky with wave selection lately though
too funny goatie i free surf with you reguraly and i dont think you have ever given me a wave unless it was a close out! or maybe a left

That's why when I freesurf I ride my whippy little Dan Co. custom, but should I draw Dan in a heat I pull out the 10' Jimmy Lewis and wait there, side on, right in front of the peak - that's 5 foot each end he has to paddle around!
had a good view of a bit of it from the little left and right down beach. saw a cracker party wave with roger and stuey.
Much thanks to Alison and Casso for a superb season and congradulations to Alison who I think is the Womens race series "champ".
As mentioned previous, the spirit of the day was what made it a winner.
For the day and the final I rode the new Suplove 9'4" "Mach 1" as a quad.
Its true what Casso says, that area, inside Goaty, "the mystical oasis" is more like a Bermuda Triangle ( its Goatys triangle ) you sit inside Goaty, your too deep, you sit outside Goaty, your too wide. Hilarious and a credit to Goaty.
For me the great communication was a highlight in the final with everyone calling each other in on the lefts and rights.
Well done to everyone, it was a fanatstic year.
