It is looking like a sweet event for Sunday. Bring on the superbank at south Palmy.

With one last event for the year to shake the leaderboard, it's going to be all on.

1. Casso - 1860 pts
2. Goaty - 1795 pts
3. JB - 1444 pts
4. DTM - 1226 pts
( see all the results at accounts.tidyhq.com/users/sign_in )

Hope to see you all there.

I'm going to get round to the Superbank early, might see if I can grab the flags and stuff Saturday and setup, might ward off some of the public if they see the setup. I have a special plan for the race also.... but this will be a secret for now. I think everyone liked my last idea at Palmy. This will be much easier and faster, but just as challenging considering the conditions.

Hope to see you all there.....

I'll be there for sure, wouldn't miss it.

Casso I'm guessing if it's at the Southern end then probably no kids race for this one? Although mind you, going off of the forcast might be a bit too miserable a day for the little tackers to be hanging around the beach all day...

The kids race will still be on. They will either go out from kiddies corner where it will be tiny or we will relocate over to the Pittwater side for all the racing.

Thanks Casso, I'll see if I can drag my nephew along again ( if I can I'd say SPSC will be getting a new junior member )

Maybe but this time around Steve Morrison won't be racing his Naish 9'6" quad which makes me glad I'll be on Maui.

Ahh crap. Which idiot gave him a bigger board? - I've been trying to tell him that his 9'6" Quad is one of the fastest race boards around.

Looks like the weather will be nicer now! A bit smaller, but sunny. Maybe look at the corner of the road? I got really nices waves there on Sunday.

Casso - any idea when the kids race will be? Around 11ish? They'll do anything for a chocolate bar at the finish!

Thanks Casso, great day yesterday, as always flawlessly run, brilliant weather, pretty good waves and good vibes.

The semi's and final were a hoot, 6 SUPs all jockying for a wave in an area the size of a small loungeroom. There were accidental dropins, fades and lots of heckling but all in good fun and with a great vibe. A bit like surfing with ya mates really.

Casso has now taken over the mantle of 'snakeman' from me (I took over from Dogman BTW)

How did the paddle race go?

I've been carefully watching and learning from the master!

Terrific - until I hit a bit of chop 3/4 of the way through the first leg, fell off the "Aussie Rocket", had to swim 5 stokes with my paddle to collect my board then get back on and start paddling again. In the meantime moving from equal first with "Steve Machine" to fourth. A fast board is only fast if you can stay on it!

A topic in itself CASSO!

Thanks to you Alison and the kids for turning up and setting up every club round! AND getting those frankenfurts always ready on time.

Just to let you know that that change to the clubs constitution went through in Saturday night: Winner of the Club series is next years president!

Yep,great final. Hard to call especially as the banks shut down half way through.
Rob Gittoes rode the new 8'6 Wide Ripper for the first time in his semi and then in the final.

Yeah, great effort for 2nd Dan

How's Goaty's three wins from the last three club comps - they guy's unstoppable. Hopefully he'll start slowing down when he turns 50 early next year! Maybe then we will have a chance at beating him.

The area on the inside of Goaty is like some kind of mystical oasis - we'd all like to be there but can never seem to find it. Maybe it doesn't really exist.
