I'm keen, the wife will be in NY so should be able to make it.
Any other Vicco guys heading over to maybe share some accom?
Onboard, is everything preferably run and won at 3rd ramp? Where do you move it to if need be?
Brendan,
This year, its looking like the sup will be at 3rd ramp to decide the finalists and provide some fun/intermedate level conditions, then the finals at Stonies Rise which is a regular shortboarding spot, obviously conditions dependant. Late dates for easter so hopefully some good swell and light winds.
Cheers,
Scott
Hey OG
There were three women last year in the Sup and I'm nearly positive there will be double that this year.
The more the merrier ( and we don't stand out the back discussing knitting either...lol)
Thanks Liz,
Yep Phil, the girls are on to it. A great weekend, I am so keen on it I think this might be like 25 years in a row for me so if that gives you an idea of how fun it is.
Be an in the water, all weekend, weekend. (maybe stop for a minuite for a pale and pizza).
Some quality waves around the other side too!
Get on it for sure.
Cheers,
Scotty
Hey Scotty, is Stonies Rise a left or right hander?
I've been to robe probably 15+ times for new years and a few Robe Easter classics.
Would have to be one of my favorite places. I was probably last there around 2000.
Yeah from what I remember it was always a great event, just like the Mambo on a smaller scale. Kegs of beer, waves, driving on the beach to the spot you chose to surf.
Good times!
Is the golf course still there?
