Looks like the Balsa paddle saved you, but the shaft took a pretty good rail hit.... looks like it stood up to the impact test!
The longer I do this, the more I like the longboards. My problem is that they require style...

I was very, very lucky that I came out unscathed. I didn't even think it was that bad until I saw the footage.

amazing how much little waves can push a board around in the white water. Add a little wind, and who knows what that boards going to do.
