Regos open for Battle of the Paddles on Hamilton I

Registrations are now open for the Gatorade Battle of the Paddles.... let the battle commence! All the rego details can be found on the event website.

It's being rumoured that a group of keen SUP paddlers are putting together an OC6 crew to take on the outriggers in the 42km marathon!

Should be a great battle!

For the good of SUP, I hope they get away with the name and set a precedent but I get the impression they don't know the can of worms they've opened.

I'll go right ahead and assume this isn't a faux naif question. I'd be referring, of course, to the alleged litigious propensity of Rainbow Sandals to protect and enforce their copyright and trademarks pertaining to the name Battle of the Paddle. Which sucks.
