Beno was was that happy with the new board he was just spinning out

Suburbia.....where.... nothing but the sound of birds chirping and the gently lapping of the water on the hull here

just over 3 gs deliverd to wa from qld ,pretty cheap for a hollow moulded full carbon race proven winning machine,id be buying 10 of them at the moment as the aussie dollar is so strong but my wife wont let me, i think i may have got a good deal as it was the last one off paddling promotions in tugun thanks Chrisid heard rumours they were up to 5 gs deliverd out of hawai ,this is one that was built in china but the boss of sic has taken back the moulds so maybe price goes up ,i am a lucky radman

had the f-16 out for its first downwinder on the weekend, paddled with telstra john and new recruit aaron on his 14'8' starboard, paddled from lighthouse to st geoges with a10-12 kn w/s/sw approx 4ks found the f- 16 a joy to paddle and was able to bust onto runners and keep the big girl on the plane with a bit of gut busting, this baby flys found my self flying ahead of the others whitch was good as i was able to have a break after my gut busting runs.aaron did well on his starry on only his forth outing only fell in three times, and was able to find some form at the end and bust onto a few runners. goes to show how good that 2008 model board was and still is, cant wait to get the f-16 out in 25 kns man its gunna go would have to say it s probly 20% faster than the starboard, i just hope that hollow carbon construction hangs in and dosent snap in half you feel a bit of flexing when punching into it, just need to swap the steering arm to suit my natural footed surfing stance, has any one had any experience with swaping the cables over i assumre youy use a thin stiff bit of wire to draw them through and maybe sum super gleu to attach the string, glue the carbon scuff pad down with some kwip grip after trimmig the deck grip off.capt radman over and out

Try Downwinder. He has had quiet a few threads about SIC boards, so should know the drill.

watch out paddling into chop my custom F16 cracked on both rails forward of where you stand from flexing to much.Got it fixed not realizing how i did it the first time and then it happened again a bit further up from the repair all i was doing was paddling out to catch some runners back in not that big a chop.

doh thats exactly what i didnt want to hear Hux,couldnt emagine any thing worse than spliting open 5 mile out to sea, howd they fix it externally or internally or both.was yours a chinese one , i think i be taking it easy punching into it,are you heavy or light. been tinkring up the shed swapped the steering over to the left hand side changed out the stranded steering cables for five strands of 8olb braid was a whole lot easier to deal with tie ing knots ect, used some electrical heat shrink tubing to make neat, glued the scuff pad on with locktight 406, extended the breather tube with some more shrink tube, shes sic now brudas

That us some serious tinkering.

I'll be passing through your neck of the woods over the weekend but won't have time to paddle unfortunately.
