I have a Quatro 8'6 Glide AST. 32 wide at 130L. Would a ECS Wide Boy 8'10 x 31 wide 135L be less performance? The tail is smaller.. I'm looking for a bit more high performance from the Glide. I can get a ECS wide boy at a decent price. And It has been hard to find HP sups right now.

Feedback would helpful! Thanks!

Hey Surfmore, have not surfed a Quatro but have owned a Wideboy in that size, pretty good all round board that has stability, speed to burn and turned well given the width. Still a pretty wide board though, you may be better finding a 30 wide board

Thanks Souwester

I think I'm going to go with the Quatro Carve for cleaner bigger days and use the Quatro Glide in textured smaller one.

The Quatro Carve:
8'4 x 130L x 30" wide

Here is the difference.
I have surfed the Glide 8'6 in 1-8' waves. Heavy NJ hollow winter waves and it has worked great. Hoping the 8'4 gives me more performance without being crazy tippy. I'm 6'0 190lbs. (A shortboarder for 30+ years).
