Desperate need for advice

Looking to purchase first SUP and have seen a BIC ACE-TEC 11'6 looking to purchase.
Any advice if I should get this or the AtlantisGlider - Soft SUP.

Cant go for anything too expensive atm but wanna make a purchase before summer ends.

Had some lessons on the BIC and seemed ok.

Cheers

My only concerns with the Bic is that hard and sharp seal/seam that runs all the way around the center of the rail of the board.

Thanks DavidJohn

The one I'm looking had has some cosmetic damage. What happen with this sharp seal/seam?

It can scrape the skin or the wetsuit when climbing on the board. This was a big problem a guy renting them on a local beach had with them.

The seams are left on in production as a kind of built in rail guard, they add at least a couple of years to the board as that's where boards are dropped most regularly. They can get sharp on the edges, but they're easy to sand or file down.

Look out for the adventure boards going for 799-879 when I was in SA last week. Is that in your budget?
