Just putting it out there - I know a few ( all? ) of the crew that did the Doctor have sworn off DW for the next few weeks ( months ) but if anyone is interested in having a cruisy DW this Sat ( wind looks way better than Sun, and the swell is looking great on Sun too).
Plan would be to start from Port south carpark at 1600, and finish up at Swannie SLSC.
Post your interest and we can sort the transport depending on numbers.
And Stimo I am feeling your doctor pain, but we should get back on that (DW)horse sooner or later.

Hi, Thanks for posting this. I would like to join you ... you say a cruisy DW right ? :-) ...if I am not too late. Regarding the transport - please just let me know how can I help with my car - when to be where and who to take where. Cheers

Hey NaDi, all are welcome. The best bet is to be at the Swanny SLC carpark at 3.20 to load your board onto a trailer ( Luke will have his there), or carpool with another paddler. Then head to the South end of the Port Beach car park ( where the Salt restaurant is), and aim to all be in the water by no later than 4.00.

With the predicted winds for this arvo ( 20-30 kn ssw) leashes are a must and pfd's are at the paddlers' discretion but strongly advised.

Look forward to meeting you this arv. Pretty sure we will have a good crowd and a great paddle !!

We are debating if this is the best run ever and if not in the top three. Did
Port to Scabs in around 1.30.
Felt like you where windsurfing at times.

Also did port to scarbs, don't know if it was all time. There were definitely some big steep runners out there but they didn't seem to be linking up like usual.
