Just putting it out there - I know a few ( all? ) of the crew that did the Doctor have sworn off DW for the next few weeks ( months ) but if anyone is interested in having a cruisy DW this Sat ( wind looks way better than Sun, and the swell is looking great on Sun too).
Plan would be to start from Port south carpark at 1600, and finish up at Swannie SLSC.
Post your interest and we can sort the transport depending on numbers.
And Stimo I am feeling your doctor pain, but we should get back on that (DW)horse sooner or later.
ok iam in what the hell got a few 14 dc here from dale and his team which they are keen to sell cheaper than normal slight freight damage but water tight and fast will post them on site later but you guys can have first dig if you know anyone .
Anyone interested in longer paddles pm me we will do a late one fri and sat if good conditions city to sorrento maybe longer. Will do port to sorrento sat if wind good.

I can take 3 from swanie to port so let me know I will be there 3.20.gone by 3.30 to port
Hi, Thanks for posting this. I would like to join you ... you say a cruisy DW right ? :-) ...if I am not too late. Regarding the transport - please just let me know how can I help with my car - when to be where and who to take where. Cheers
Hey NaDi, all are welcome. The best bet is to be at the Swanny SLC carpark at 3.20 to load your board onto a trailer ( Luke will have his there), or carpool with another paddler. Then head to the South end of the Port Beach car park ( where the Salt restaurant is), and aim to all be in the water by no later than 4.00.
With the predicted winds for this arvo ( 20-30 kn ssw) leashes are a must and pfd's are at the paddlers' discretion but strongly advised.
Look forward to meeting you this arv. Pretty sure we will have a good crowd and a great paddle !!
Good to see the girls in to it don't worrie Na Di we won't leave you by your self out there you will more than likely be up there with the guys anyway see you there .

Tim was very fast on his sb big smiles all round. ![]()
What a great afternoon - thank you everyone and special thanks to Luke who saved my SUP few times today ![]()
Also did port to scarbs, don't know if it was all time. There were definitely some big steep runners out there but they didn't seem to be linking up like usual.
hey boys,
great arvo, bad news is, the footage from the actual paddle didn't come out, only the pre paddle filler footage, try again next time.
