Yes, it's back on - The Port Phillip Cup 6km race and Social Paddle - Australia Day - Saturday 26th of January 2013 at St Kilda West Beach, Pier Road.
Heaps and heaps of prizes on offer from a board, paddles, Oakley sunnies, SUP merchandise, AFL footy tickets, Kahuna Street SUP, Kite Boarding voucher, travel vouchers, massage vouchers, too many to mention!!
There is race for everyone in the family including the pet dog/fish/bird/cat/alpaca so get on board! Family race (parent and child), King of the 200 metre sprint, kids only race, Pet and owner race, even a SUP Yoga demonstration!
The serious stuff starts at 9am followed by all the fun stuff! Need to be signed in and registered by 8:30am latest.
Only $20 to enter which goes to Earthcare St Kilda charity. Pre-registration via SUPVIC's website www.supvic.com

Registration is now open for the 2013 SUP-HQ Port Phillip Cup to be held on Saturday 26th January at St Kilda.http://www.supvic.com/suphq-pfc-registration/
Entrants in the 6km Main Race Only need to pre-register. All other events can be entered on the day.
The Main Race serves as ROUND 5 of the SUP VIC / Surfing Victoria Flat Water SUP Championship Series, and pre-registration online is mandatory for your entry and points to be counted in the series.
Registration closes 5pm Friday 25th January.
This is always an amazing family day!
Pet race is always a blast, you never know what pets terrestrial inter terrestrial or otherwise will appear.

What'SUP on Australia Day?
The answer to that question is the annual SupHQ Australia Day Port Phillip Cup, one of the biggest events on the SUP calendar and the SUP VIC Flatwater State Series.
There are events for serious paddlers and fun first timers with great prizes from Fanatic, Naish, Kahuna Street SUP, Oakley, Sup Mag, Kite Republic HQ and many more.
Just by entering the main race and Social Paddle you go in the draw to win a Fanatic SUP Board.

It's not only about being first over the line as all participants go in to the draw for the major prize - a Fanatic SUP. There's also a prize for the best-dressed paddler in the theme of 'Australia Day'. $20 entry with
money raised on the day going to Earth Care St Kilda, a locally based organisation that looks after the St Kilda Penguin colony, providing research, support and information.

kids are keen to do do more than than the normal sprint race this year.
Is the social/junior race half distance (one or two laps)? Just can't see them doing 3 laps?
