Heads-up on a great event coming our way next month!
As part of the Sydney Pittwater Festival, the Newport Royal Motor Yacht Club is hosting the first Sydney SUP Expo and Scotland Island race - Sunday March 9th 2014
Six months in the planning this is going to be one big FUN FAMILY DAY with the details to be announced over the next week.
I joined some friends on Sunday for a 'Tour De Pittwater' to scope out the possibilities for the race and a bit of a play.
The Scotland Island race will be a big part of the event and as we found out, it is in a really beautiful part of Pittwater!

I think shooting from a boat made a big difference.
Kissa we were stunned at how beautiful it is over there. It was a magic morning!
Cant wait till March. We are getting some great support for this event! It is going to be a big day of FUN of SUP action!

The Scotland Island race is 6k and the short fun course will be around 1k.
To help blow off the cob webs you can warm up in the Time Trail through the Marina!
