Late update on the Sunset SUP Series (or the Sunset Surfski Series as the guys that sit down call it).

There have been some changes:-

- The most important is presentations were going to be in a licensed area with a bar, now they presentations are going to be under Clancy's and it is BYO
- Registration is now open at 4.15 and briefing at 4.30.

- We will have a trailer for 15 boards and seats for 6 at City Beach (car park just north of Clancy's) at 3.30 and will leave at 3.45 to go to start of the race.

- For those going straight to the start and leave your car there plenty of space on the trailer and car to give you a lift back after presentations.

RACE 1: REGISTRATION AND START
Registration for race 1 is as per last year where we meet at the Southern end of Port Beach car park.

Registration opens at 4.15 pm.
All competitors must register.
All competitors to have the race ID number on their hand.
All competitors to wear the SSS fluro peak cap given out at registration. (Cap to be used for all three races.)
Leash & life jacket must be present.
Compulsory Race briefing to be held at 4.30pm

Race start is positioned up against the rock wall sheltered by the wind. (As per race three last year)
SUP Division start time 4.50pm
Paddle ski field 5.00pm

Finish this year will be around a turning can just past City Beach groyne with a run finish up to Clancy's restaurant.
Hot dog & prizes presented on the North side of Clancy's in front of the cafe.
Car parking for ski pick up best suited North side of Clancy's.

Good luck to everyone and look forward to seeing the numbers once again.

Race 1 Friday 17 October 2014
Race 2 Friday 14 November 2014
Race 3 Thursday 27 November 2014

Can you please get them to put it 50m north of the groyne this year?

It was certainly a bit gnarly last year.

It will be about 50 metres north as it finishes in front of Clancys.
