A few of you have been using the newish Ocean & Earth leashes, with the one piece tapered ends...

Any feedback? Has anyone managed to snap one yet?

I think I might buy one anyway...

snapped a whole bunch of the 10ft knee mal cords

too be fair, they're probably not meant for sup

creatures outer reef are the best, only snapped one and even then the cord did not snap it broke where the cord attaches to the ankle collar

I haven't had any snap, here or in Bali in some solid waves.
BUT...I have heard some have had some problems.

Creatures of Leisure the only way to go for sure.....especially if you not too good at swimming after your board in a rip

Had my creatures for close to two years , still going strong although a bit longer than 10ft now.

Agree with the others - outer reef is the way to go. I've had mine for at least 12 months and given it some pretty good workouts in overhead waves. I've replaced the cord attaching to the legrope plug in the board a couple of times when they show signs of wear, but so far no problems with the leash.

Rosscoe, you've seen the good times I have had with Creatures Outer Reef leggies.

I guess it must come down to luck. I think it was 4 in 3 months! I really like the brand.
Them and FCS do some really good functional accessories.

All the warranties/snaps we used to see were always at the ankle or near the rail saver.

Had a couple fail but both covered by warranty no probs,
wouldn't recommend in larger waves but great concept by O+E so hopefully with some more R+D they can get it right. The cord seems to stretch really long and your left with a much thinner leash than started with.

Had one go swapped over no problems but it was only 7mm , I'don't like the thick heavy long leashes , like to keep mine at 8 feet feet for a quicker recovery.
