SUP has grown fast all over the world.
I noticed that at 1.18 seconds the guy has his leashtied to his waist with a belt or something.
.Has anybody tried that?Is it better than being attached to the lower leg?

Karla Gilbert uses this method all of the time. Seems to keep the leash away from the legs and enables easier running. I'll post a photo of her setup tonight.
Look at Carla's setup very often then NNSUP?![]()
Typical...mind in the gutter. You'll have to lift your standard now that you've moved to the North Side.
I notice they have gone away from that huge fat nose on the falcon !!!
@NNSUP lol mate I have only been here on the forum for a few weeks now but I see DJ is a Naish fanatic and Kialo supporter But I reckon he is just a huge Support to all that is SUP in Australia

The Falcons you can see in this video are all protos for 2016. There were about 5 different boards all being trialled over the series both in flat water and ocean models. Jake, Jacko, Belair and Ange really tested the boards and changes will still be made yet.
As for DJ, he's a SUP fanatic and just likes to share his stoke for the sport. He's nearly the "Grandfather" of SUP in Vic and has encouraged numerous people over the years. Rumour has it that he even has a Naish tattoo.
Only a month to go now and he'll start posting his annual Merimbula photos. He's been at every one of them.

You'll see in the photo that Karla and Ange are using the same belt system.

He sure is a great ambassador for the sport mate as I can see so far.
I only started SUP in January this year, the aim was to get fit again loose some kg's and try and get back on the surf again.
I stupidly went surfing with my fixed paddle which was way too long and injured my shoulder on a fall. And while rehabbing my shoulder I went to vimeo looking for some sup videos to watch and try pick up some tips and found DJ's they kept me sane lol. He does a great job with his videos I enjoy them a lot.
Lol I even ended up buying a naish 2013 glide GS, though not just from his videos I did take out a lot of other hire boards here in SA and found the Naish is a nice stable one for my current fatness ehhhem! weight
