Hello friends,
in case you haven't seen them yet in Australia here is a sneak preview of the new paddle blade from Jimmy Lewis.
Here on the Masao ****uyama style.
The new JL Signature blade is about 1" longer than the small Kanaha blade and it's about 3/8" narrower.
You can see the difference in the Blue Paddle! The one on the right is a Small Kanaha (same template as Quickblade).
If you don't know all Jimmy paddles are designed with the collaboration of Jimmy Terrel of Quickblades.
Bye Jankie
They look nice......are they still with the fibreglass shaft? No ninny nancy stuff with the old JL paddle shafts.....they are solid and dependable.
It was the narrow part of the paddle blade I could snap quite easily ![]()
Thanks heaps for sending the demo paddle.....will make sure lots of people get to try it out.
Feels very comfortable and rugged with a little bit of flex. The hot glue set up is a great idea also.
Swapped paddles with someone using aluminium paddle that comes with The Warehouse sups this morning......that was really really bad ![]()
Also think the JL blade graphics look good ( an overwhelming silence from the forum on the new paddles though?)
