Yes the rumours are true!!!! Very exciting we have started a new SUP club on the northern end of the Goldie. We have just received our incorporation so we are set to go.We are also becoming members of Surfing Qld .We hope to promote a competitive as well as family club operating from the Broadwater. In a few days we will be able to announce our home. We are in negotiations with a shared facility which should be fantastic.
We have appointed a coach to the club who will be doing our club coaching as well as offering private coaching. The focus of the club is to host as many club events as we can to give paddlers the oppurtunity to compete and race as well as create a development squad from our juniors. On the less competitive side we want to introduce SUP adventures where club members can meet at different locations for day or weekend trips.
