Can someone please explain why NSW beaches are closed due to 2m swell? ??

pretty sure itd be more due to debri n crap from all the rains rather than swell

thanks guys, media are all over it was surprised at that size.BOM reported dangerous surf conditions.

Water quality is quite putrid at the moment - Central Coast of NSW anyhow.Smelly, dark brown and not at all inviting.
