I'm from the west and have a few Qantas points to burn . I'm seriously considering a trip to Merimbula as I've never been to this part of Australia and have only heard positive things . I'm looking at February next year .
I'm a keen race paddler . I have an inflatable 12'6 . Is it worth me bringing it?
Also is there any surf that time of year and could I rent a surf sup if there is . I'm a very average surfer . Small waves suit me fine .
I will rent a car if I do the trip . Any information is greatly appreciated.

You will love it for sure.. and if you can be bothered I'd definitely recommend bringing the 12'6" Inflatable..

There should be surf then.. and there are many different surf options depending on wind direction and wave size.. There is a local surf shop in town but I'm not sure if they rent boards..

I don't think the big poo is still there but the beautiful beaches and the glassy water in the inlet will always be there..
