Hi all,
just looking for any info / feedback for paddling / SUP surfing at Lord Howe Island?
Hire? Taking a board? Best sports? etc etc
Thanks
I went to Lord Howe last year. I rented a big sup from the beach in town. Only suitable for flat water paddle. There were waves on outer reef but I didn't see any one on it. I also think taking your own board would be a hassle because the plane is always full.

The plane to LHI is a Dash 8.
Your board needs to be less than 8ft (and a bit) to fit the freight section.
There are a number of hire places. Their boards have been delivered by boat.
Surf at Neds Beach but be careful of the coral.
