Due to a healthy regular paddle Thursday night turn out we have decided to change the day to Thursday so the date for the first day of the Series is now on the 5th of May at 4pm for a 4:30 Start.
We would also like to let you know that the guys from "Paddles" will also be coming on board and helping out with the series and also putting up some great prizes.
Its already getting very competitive down at the Lake! which is awesome to see.
So from now till then Paddle hard! and lets see what you got!
Luke and Haydes
Hey Luke,
I would like to have a go at this, but only have a 9foot surf SUP. Would it be silly to turn up with your surf SUP?
Maybe we can have a 9 foot and under division ! Or give us a headstart ![]()
Jayne
Hi Jayney,
Your just going to have to paddle harder! lol
We encourage every one to turn up no mater what board they have.
The 12.6 and under class will have people with all size and styles of boards.
Remember as well as racing against others you are also racing against yourself and the clock so as long as your getting faster over the 6 week series your a winner!
You may not win the Quick Blade Elite race paddle but your still a winner!
I have a couple spare race boards up for grabs so if you or any one else wants to use one for the series let me know ASAP
Anyone who rocks up on a typical surf oriented SUP will be the "surf board style SUP class"
Luke
just an option.
when we have run previous B.O.P style races in SA we had an open, 12'6 race board and surf board divison.
good luck, enjoy
Too easy, If we get a few people that register with smaller surf style sups we will run a Surf Board Division.
Luke
Sounds great fun, but i am worried I will still be out on the course paddling my surfboard in the dark with a 4.30pm start !
We will see...
All welcome to come and train together on Tuesday and Thursday morning at Kawana Boat Ramp (Buddina) at 5:30am. We leave on the dot for an hour.
All free
Bring your own board.
Fun Group and all keen to do the series.
Hey Swan dog!
let any of your crew know who are keen that they can race their regular surf orientated sups in the series in the "surf sup board division"
Although we will be checking just to make sure that they are not stealth race boards disguised as longboards! lol
Paddle Hard bud
