I was down there about 10.30am and I couldn't believe the amount of people in the creek on stand ups. I took this looking down towards the Currumbin SUP Club tent and this was only one section of the creek. It was packed up the other direction as well.
I like.....lots of enthusiasm. Sup is big on the gisborne river at the moment also.....you might on a quiet sunday afternoon when the wakas and skullers are out of the pictures see 10 kayakers. But maybe 6 or 7 people on sups also
