Yeh! Kneel-up paddle surfing hits the news in the States.
Just ignore the kayak..

The paddle I use is a Makani 8.0 Vario (adjustable shaft) RDS paddle

Fully adjusted down it is a perfect length to paddle kneeling up (or should that be down).

Short period and choppy surf is no longer a problem and the power I get paddling is much better than anything I can do standing up.
