So much fun running through a good chunk of my active quiver this week, on some really sweet waves!!

I am working on vids from the week, but I have way too much footage because I filmed most sessions with both the SoloShot3 and my Kook Hat Cam.

I had some troubles getting Soloshot to zoom correctly, so it missed most of my day on the 8'7 Placid by zooming in too close at 1,000 mm setting (I set the zoom lock at 200 mm...so ???)

When it's that close, any speed on the wave and the camera can't keep up. (1st wave clip)
So the Kook Hat Cam was there for backup

Nice fun edit Creek. A regular shortboard ripper too. And what is up with the Creekcamper? A new life phase, the ultimate surf tour rig.

Thanks and good luck.

Thanks for that , I enjoyed watching. Have a trailer ( caravan ) myself at a spot on the coast near Bells Beach.
Your surfing and music selection are good too!

Thanks J!
The average house where I live goes for $850,000
My 10 year lease is over next summer, so no way I can afford to live on Cape Cod..... but WAIT!
I bought this sweeeet trailer in a seasonal park right near the beach for $5,000

There is a bunk room that I am turning into an office for my computer/video work!
So stoked to score a summer place on Cape Cod FOREVER! yewwwwwwwww!

I will not give up the awesome site I have, so this trailer will NEVER move - hence I don't have to renovate with "over road" considerations.
LOTS of reconstruction planned!

Thanks Dude!
Yes, the SP25 has a nice easy speed attached to it, with smooth easy performance!
I keep saying easy, because that's how I feel on it... it just flows along with me, like it's attached.
That and the Placid have very similar feeling but the SP25 is noticeably faster.....
Since I am loving my 8'7 Placid so much, I may actually get a smaller SP25 as well.

Thanks Wildman!
Raining and windy today, so I will be working on them!

since there seems to be some interest in trailer living.... some pics
I'll probably do a trailer re-build video at some point.

yeah, I don't need more beds.....

So the office remake is underway

So much to absorb. Love the look of the Flow (great wave!), and the camper, but got to ask, how big was the great white that you just calmly noticed?

Thanks Ishie!
The fin was absolutely huge... it looked to be 3' out of the water.
It was closer than the GoPro would show on SuperView, so I had a very good look at it.
We have lots and lots of Whites cruising the surf zone here.... more than almost anywhere in the world because of our huge seal population.

The seal population had been killed off for the past 300 year, and started to rebound 15 years ago.
Soon the GW's realized there was an all you can eat buffet along the edge of the beach on Cape Cod... and they moved in.

GW's were freaky at first, since it's so new to us...
but since CoVid loaded up every surf break in the world with insane crowds... I have grown to appreciate their ability to keep surfers away!
No one will surf until after 8 am... so I get to surf alone or with a few SUP buddies every morning

Here are the GW alerts from typical summer day
