I remember this clip from a while back.
Good to see them doing it all, real craftsmen.
Remember when you could talk directly to the guy who made your board?
Getting rarer and rarer.
I walked in by accident on this store in 2012. I was doing a road trip with my wife through the Pacific Highway all the way to San Francisco. At that time I was still 50% surfer and 50% SUPer and had a big and heavy SUP board (the only kind of boards available in Northern Portugal at that time) that I used in every conditions (including bigger waves). We started in Laguna Beach but I drove to Dana Point to see if I coul buy an used surfboard (it fitted better in a regular car). So I see this store, walked in and was completely amazed by the boards - the first time I saw really good boards, from 7' something to unlimited boards. I ended up buying a surfboard, but that trip was the trigger point to leave surfing and focus on SUP.
After a while I joined the SUP industry in Portugal (still doing its baby steps) but my love for those boards continued and flourished and now, finally, I am proud to be able to spread that passion for those boards in Portugal, since I just became a dealer for Infinity ![]()
Back in the 90's I looked to Steve for a big guy board, because he had been making tandem boards and winning on them for decades, so I knew he understood how to make high volume boards that actually surf well.
Dave is a funny, humble guy who rips on SUP and innovates non-stop.... the whole system they have built is awesome.
True surfing and paddling craftsmanship.

that's Hi five including the board BreakersEBR! ![]()
is that the new 2017 Infinity Blackfish board with probox/vental as standard or custom installed fins and how is it? Also, got any pics of the Whiplash with probox/vental setup?
apparently steve is still shaping 8 to 10 custom wave skis a month to his patented stinger design. i'm lucky enough to have one that he made for himself
