With these strong Northerly's a downwinder on the Dam could be fun , could go the left arm or right depending on wind.

I live up that way but have never paddled on the dam. I assume you would start at the boat ramp, but where would you leave your car and finish up?

At the end of the yellow lines are exit points , the right one is the boat ramp out Mudgeeraba way. You could leave cars their as long as you can enter the water from near the Dam wall.(not sure about this).Ive paddled on it a couple times , one really windy day and it was fun. Although I had to paddle against the wind to start and that wasn't much fun I rekon a raging Northerly would whip up some nice bumps.

Sounds good. I'd be keen to give it a go if you are ever heading out
