I agree and me like a drink or two however in my opinion we shouldn't promote publicly that alcohol is cool only sup is cool ;)

100% JEG.... I'm not a big drinker but love a beer or two after work.
We did talk about social etiquette and appropriateness around having a drink of beer on the show. I'm sure it will be about the brew itself not about drinking.
Thanks for your feedback, Jonesy.

What is this world coming too!! You can't have a simple beer without offending someone (anyone watch TV lately? Alcohol/ Gambling). Next you will offend some people because you have a beard!!! What ever you do, don't drink a sugar laden soft drink on the show!!

A few years back, Surfing Victoria, and I think Surfing Australia were heavily sponsored by VB so all the board rider clubs got lots of free product and everyone was happy with the association. Then they were offered even more money by a government anti-alcohol agency and they dropped VB, and suddenly it wasn't okay to connect the surf lifestyle with having a recreational drink. I get that money buys the opportunity to present a message and by taking the money, clubs and peak bodies have to tow the line. But that doesn't mean that the message becomes law or that they get to enforce new cultural norms or thought control.

These vids are useful. But can I make two requests? First, if you making a vid about a product, then please show the product. One static camera angle isn't a good way of doing this. We want to see the rocker line, outline, rails, tail, fin and fin position, handle, deck pad etc.

Second, if you have two presenters, please don't talk at the same time. Take turns.

Thanks very much.

Well, you have room to go...
For instance the "recettes pompettes" (drunk recipes), a french canadian vodka-fueled cooking show (well, as many thing on TV, it is fake. Only the first shot is vodka, rest is water)

I love the rawness of the clips and I'm not into 666ing,these guys are not hired TV reporters but good riders who are passionate about their sport,I loved the grommet segment with the leash string. Area why dose everything 666ing have to be so,so serious

Keep them coming.

Is it possible that you are being a little defensive here? Maybe you are having a bad day. I didn't trash the vids. I was just making suggestions to these guys as to how they could get more views. If we were commenting on someone's bottom turn and I said that they might improve by moving their back foot more towards the tail, would you get similarly defensive? It's a pretty basic thing that product vids should show the product, and presenters shouldn't talk over each other. It's 101. If they don't agree then they can ignore my suggestions. But I hope they don't, and take them in the spirit they were intended, which was well-meant suggestions for improvement, not unfair criticism.
