So I just deposited my 7 in Davy Jones locker. Seems like the newer models have some nice advances with stabilization and battery.
For use with a mouth mount what advice can any of you fellow video'ers send my way?
I have the 10 and its a nice unit, stabilised footage is good plus Hig Def is nice if you need it, battery life is OK.
Personally, I became frustrated with GoPro and have switched to DJI Action 2. It has the same form factor as the GoPro Session - which I thought was great but they discontinued it. I have not tried it yet...

Thanks cSe!
My last Sessions5 died yesterday... been trying all day to recover it but it has passed on to a blank stare Universe.
The Hero8 I bought a few years ago, was horrible as a "Hat Cam".... too big, too heavy. Bouncy footage and the camera kept smashing into my face on hard wipeouts. Controls were harder to manage in the surf.... I used it 2 times and it has been gathering dust for years without use. Sooooo, I kept buying used Sessions, but yesterday my searching found one for $759 - that's not happening!
While I don't use the footage from it a lot, it is invaluable to catch my candid thoughts on a new board, or filming flat-water adventures.
My Kook Hat needs a new tiny cam.... and this DJI A2 looks like just the thing!!! Thank You my friend!! ![]()
Bye bye Sessions5... you have been an amazing friend all these years! ![]()

Thanks all for your replies. With what you have said I haven plunged back into researching youtubers, I start to narrow It down. For my purposes, probably an 8 or 9. Thanks Rick, I had remembered you not being pleased with the larger size of the 8. I think the mouth mount might work as it's a firmer mount. The 10 seems to be only slight upgrade with the faster processor heating and using more battery. A couple of months away from new Hero11 and a new Session release but prices will for sure be pumped and probably more then I need.
